& Rosen Method Bodywork
I use body-centered counseling and Rosen Method bodywork to help people become aware of, explore, and embody their inner thoughts and feelings using restorative embodied self-awareness.
Dr. Alan Fogel, Professor of Psychology Emeritus at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and the leading researcher on Rosen Method bodywork in psychology, describes restorative embodied self-awareness as "a complete awareness in the sea of...felt experiences, all the ways in which we can be in touch with the inner condition of our bodies."
I use the Rosen Method and teachings from Dr. Fogel's work to help my clients embrace the connection between their bodies and their minds in the present moment. This process allows us to slow down and be in the moment so we can find ease in daily life.
I offer counseling for:
Anxiety and depression
Coping skills for stress management
Support for life transitions
Support for the process of aging
I am a Maryland licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), a certified Rosen Method practitioner, and a licensed massage therapist (LMT).
